Something not working, or just not making sense? Start below — most of it is a two-minute fix. If yours isn't here, email us. We read every one.

Get in touch

We usually reply within a day or two.

It speeds things up enormously if you tell us three things: what device you're on (iPhone, Android, or a browser), what you expected to happen, and what happened instead. A screenshot is worth about four paragraphs.

Common questions

The AI guessed my task wrong

Tap the task to open it, then tap the category, time estimate, effort, or urgency to change it. That correction isn't cosmetic — it's the whole point. The AI learns from it and applies it next time you add something similar. If it's consistently wrong about one kind of task, correcting it two or three times is usually enough to fix it for good.

The time estimates feel off

They start from what similar tasks take most people and get more accurate as it watches what they actually take you. Finish a few tasks with the timer running and it recalibrates. You can also just edit any estimate directly — the app treats that as a correction and learns from it.

Your Day looks empty, or my plan disappeared

Two usual causes. Either the bucket selector is filtered to a single Bucket that has nothing due, in which case switch it back to All — or the day's plan hasn't been built yet, in which case tap Plan my day. If your budget for the day has run out, everything drops off the plan on purpose; add more time and the tasks come back.

I'm not getting notifications

Check three things, in this order:

Task alarms only fire for tasks due today that have a reminder time set on them. Past-due tasks deliberately don't alarm — being nagged about last week helps nobody.

Voice input or photo import isn't working

Both need permission the first time you use them — microphone and speech recognition for voice, camera or photo library for importing a written list. If you dismissed that prompt, it won't ask again; you'll need to switch it on in your device settings. Both run on your device: the photo isn't uploaded anywhere, and we store the transcribed text, never the audio.

How do I change or cancel my subscription?

Sign in at iheartchecklists.com, open your profile, and use Manage Subscription. That's where you change plans, update a card, or cancel.

On iPhone and iPad: subscriptions are handled on our website, not through the App Store — so you won't find I Heart Checklists in Apple's subscription settings, and cancelling there isn't possible. Use the link above instead. The app unlocks automatically once you're subscribed; there's nothing to restore.

Plans are $2.99/month or $29/year, and every account starts with a 14-day free trial with everything switched on. If the trial ends and you don't subscribe, nothing is deleted — your tasks, Buckets and history all stay, and you can keep using the app as a straightforward task manager. It's the AI that goes quiet.

I can't sign in

Use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a reset link. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check spam — and check the address you typed, since a reset link for an account that doesn't exist has nowhere to go.

Can I get my data out?

Yes, whenever you like, subscription or not. Open your profile and tap Export CSV. Your tasks are yours.

How do I delete my account?

Open your profile and tap Delete Account. You'll get one confirmation, and then it's done — the account, every task, your Buckets, your learning data and your preferences are permanently deleted. There's no recovery window and no shadow copy, so export first if you want to keep anything.

Privacy and your data

What we collect and why is set out in full in the Privacy Policy. The short version: task categorization and time estimation run on your device, we don't sell your data, and you can export or delete everything yourself without asking us.

Still stuck?

Email support@iheartchecklists.com. Bug reports are genuinely welcome — if something's broken we'd rather hear it from you than find it ourselves in three weeks.
